  1. Hi Rene

Thank you for having this wonderful blog, my wife is in the same predicament with her qualification, following your journey has given us inspiration not to give up, although it is not funny the cost involved, especially to do the bridging course, Aina! keep the faith, i wish your good luck with your VISA. regards

  4. Wish that I had done the degree!!! Due to the new legislation that was brought in in 2014, I am not eligible - even though I'll have my honours equivalent BCur I et A speciality critical care (also at UP) I found it really frustrating as there is nothing that I can do to upgrade in order to meet their requirements. AHPRA solution is for me to go over and start from scratch with their 3year degree. Sigh... Not an option as a wife and mother...

    1. Try NZ. I know of someone that didn't manage to get in to Aus but finally manage to do the course in NZ. Are you on FB? I can put you into contact with her.

    2. Yes this is right. I got into NZ as an EN. I am currently also registered as a nurse in Australia, but I don't yet have the 60 points needed to apply for a visa. I only have 55. I'm desperation..before I turn 45 in October, I am also trying for state nomination in regional Riverina...that will give me last 5 points. Does anyone else have such a situation?
